创设于1957年的日本G-Mark设计大奖（优良设计商品选定制度），是日本国内家喻户晓、具有高度影响力的设计奖项，也是全球四大国际性设计奖项之一。在日前揭晓的2015年度G-Mark评选结果中，BenQ Viva pro超声波平板成功获得GOOD DESIGN AWARD的表彰。

背景

Traditional ultrasound equipments are expensive, bulky, and generally used in major medical centers. But there are more and more needs for mobility in various medical environments. Therefore, We try to design a compact, portable, and intuitive equipment for more medical personnel and patients to benefit from efficient diagnostic examination.

経緯とその成果

With a compact, lightweight, and intuitive design, Viva Pro can stand the test of waterproof and shockproof for easy portability even in the harshest environments.

デザイナーの想い

The design language of Viva Pro focused on practicality and durability instead of impressive image. We provide a solution to solve practical problems, include the stand-handle combination for easy to install and detach, a double injection of ABS and rubber as waterproof and shockproof material, etc. Our original intention is to make ultrasound testing more effective and efficient everywhere.

企画・開発の意義

Viva Pro could help popularizing tablet-based ultrasound technology in small hospitals and clinics, even in ambulances, visiting patients or any types of medical services. In an effort to optimize clinical evaluation everywhere, Viva Pro could help medical personnel to diagnose more accurately and efficiently with less limitation.

創意工夫

1.The detachable rotating stand design that allows Viva Pro to be wall-mounted, trolley-mounted, table-set, and hand-carried for enhancing usability in all situations.

2. We raised the frame slightly higher than the main body for protection. Then employed double injection production for the frame, so that it had an outer layer of rubber for shock absorption and an inner layer of hard plastic to reinforce the internal structure.

3. Viva Pro is equipped with IO ports so that users can easily upload, save, or project examination data to bigger screens.

4. Abandoning plastic and paint design conventions, we used metallic processing to emphasize the professional quality of Viva pro, make it easy to clean and add durability without paint that can chip, and enhance impact protection.

審査委員の評価

Viva proはスリムで軽量の医療用タブレット型超音波検査装置。10インチのタッチパネルディスプレイを備え、ユーザーの持ち運びを考慮し、取り外しや回転が簡単にできるデザインのスタンドは、手提げ用ハンドルとしても使える。さらに衝撃に強いプロテクト設計は、頻繁に移動する医療現場での使用に適している。基本ソフト（OS）はアンドロイドを採用、高い放熱力と省電力機能も備える。タッチパネルのインターフェースデザインはタブレットの操作に近く、タッチペンやマウスも不要で、使い方はすぐにマスターでき、優れたユーザーエクスペリエンスを提供している。
