【日本】Seagull LED台灯获颁2012年度G-Mark设计大奖（GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2012）

创设于1957年的日本G-Mark设计大奖（优良设计商品选定制度），是日本国内家喻户晓、具有高度影响力的设计奖项，也是全球四大国际性设计奖项之一。在日前揭晓的2012年度G-Mark评选结果中，Seagull LED台灯成功获得GOOD DESIGN AWARD的表彰。

Seagull LED lamp for table takes the form of seagull and functions similarly. Responding to the eco trend, the light uses LED as lighting source which consumes less energy than traditional light bulb, yet provides the same brightness for both ambient light and reading function. It has two knobs on the main body, the front one for adjusting brightness and the back for adjusting lighting angles. The wings change position according to the adjustment, imitating seagull flapping wings. The design integrates aesthetic beauty with functions, delivering not only light but interactive fun to users.

審査委員の評価

カモメの形をモチーフにした卓上型LEDライトで、角度調節という機能性を形で表現している。LEDをより多くの人に利用してもらうために、様々なアプローチ方をとっている同社の企業姿勢に好感が持てる。
