【日本】明基BenQ笔记本电脑Joybook P53获颁2008年度G-Mark设计大奖（GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2008）

创设于1957年的日本G-Mark设计大奖（优良设计商品选定制度），是日本国内家喻户晓、具有高度影响力的设计奖项，也是全球四大国际性设计奖项之一。在日前揭晓的2008年度G-Mark评选结果中，明基BenQ笔记本电脑Joybook P53成功获得GOOD DESIGN AWARD的表彰。

受賞概要：
The design language of the Joybook P53 is drawn from modern furniture, with the comfort and relaxation of home as building blocks. Leather – warm, supple, and resilient all at once – is surrounded by a sleek metal frame to emulate the look and feel of modern home decor. The metal band on the supple leather of the LCD cover is a continuation of the ornamental emblem found on all products in the Joybook series.

デザイナーのコメント：
The Joybook P53 is a 15-inch notebook designed for the trendy consumer group keen on fusing home living with the Internet and multimedia devices. The design language of furniture – in this case a sofa – is the basis for the design. A large swath of leather covers the top of a well-rounded laptop, giving the user a cozy feel. The comfort of home has been transferred right onto an IT product.

審査委員の評価

昨今のインテリアのトレンドの一潮流を踏まえたシャープなデザインになっています。また異素材の組み合わせによる素材のコントラスト（レザーのふくよかさ、柔らかさとメタルフレームの冷たさ、シャープさ）を1つの製品の中に調和させています。またグラフィックの扱いにも苦心のあとが伺えます。横からのシルエットで目に入るヒンジ部分を積極的にアクセントにして上手くデザインしていると思います。
