在日前公开的2022年度日本G-Mark设计大奖评选中，BenQ ideaCam 网络摄像头成功获得Good Design Award的表彰。Good Design Award是于1957年创设的日本唯一综合类设计评价推荐制度。它是一项“通过设计以丰富产业生产以及生活文化”的运动，每年都吸引大量来自全球的企业和设计师参加。迄今为止，获奖总数已逾50000件，而作为获奖的证明以及荣誉象征的“G标志”，也为广大消费者认可并推崇。

The IdeaCam was designed for R&D personnel to show objects and samples in remote meetings. Compact and space-saving, it can automatically switch modes when turned downwards. It can also be easily moved thanks to its magnetic base, and can be conveniently operated with a remote control, thereby providing maximum flexibility and convenience when videoconferencing.

背景 ▼

The COVID-19 pandemic in recent years has changed how people live and work, with face-to-face meetings replaced by remote online meetings. R&D personnel and designers often need to show items and samples, but this has been made difficult in this mode of work. Converting the samples into digital images for remote meetings is troublesome and time-consuming, and some information may be unclear due to issues such as photography angles.

経緯とその成果 ▼

1.Flexibility in capturing images: The IdeaCam was designed to meet the requirements of R&D personnel. It can be mounted atop a monitor and used as a webcam, but can also be turned downwards to capture objects on the desktop. Internal sensors will detect the change in orientation and automatically switch between capturing people/objects.

2.Intuitive operations: Mounting the IdeaCam on a monitor frees up the user’s hands for demonstrations, and it features a desktop remote controller remote with programmable hotkeys, which means settings can be adjusted easily via the software.

3.Effective communication: The IdeaCam can also be detached from its mount and held by hand. For close-up shots, the IdeaCam offers up to 15x magnification to pick up every tiny detail.

マグネット脱着できることでディスプレイ上部の据え置きと、手元のオブジェを写す場合を労なく切り替えられる点が高く評価された。外形デザインもシンプルに抑えられており、手に取るときのコンパクトさも日常での使用のしやすさを喚起させてくれる。
