PD Series is a designer monitor that combine frequent switching functions in a hotkey puck for instant access. Designers can build a workstation by facilitating daisy-chaining and power delivery through Thunderbolt3. The hidden structures enable a range of adjustments such as height, tilting and pivoting. The base is 3.5mm at the thinnest, slim and flat for storage, achieving extra desktop space.

背景
PD20 series are tailored to designers who demand connection and switching between multiple devices. We found that PC used by designers tend to be cramped with multiple devices. The integrated panel for monitor adjustment is hidden inside the rear cover. The resulting minimalist appearance reduces body size, allowing more desk space for creativity. We also found that constant switching between modes can compromise efficiency for designers. To facilitate quick access to functions and provide a deft and concise device, we have integrated functions that need constant switching during the design process into a desktop access controller. It enables quick access to frequent adjustment tools.
経緯とその成果
We insist on incorporating adjustability into the minimalist profile of PD20 series by hiding the integrated panel for adjustment inside the compact rear cover. The hotkey puck is designed for the purpose of quick and convenient monitor adjustment. Features like brightness, contrast, or color modes are accessible by rotating the dial on the puck. Fast and precise calibration of the display improves work efficiency. Users can place the Hotkey Puck in the position most convenient for them. To clear out desktop space for designers, we created a 3.5mm thinner alloy base that can easily store a laptop or keyboard on it. The material is strong and functional, and represents a perfect marriage of form and function.

PD20シリーズはデザイナーのために開発されたモニター。HotKeyの頻繁な切り替え機能とインスタントアプリケーションを互いに結びつけている。ユーザーはHotKey Puckを使いやすい場所に置き、スピーディーかつ簡単にディスプレイを調整することができる。ディスクのダイヤルを回して輝度、コントラストや色モード等の機能の調整が可能で、迅速かつ正確にキャリブレーションを表示して作業効率を高める。また、隠された柱状のフット構造は高さ、傾斜、回転を調整できるほか、デザイナーにより幅広いテーブルスペースを提供するため、3.5mmの薄さの合金ベースを配置しており、気軽にノートパソコンやキーボードを置くことが可能だ。材質は強固で実用的であり、形式や機能が見事にマッチした設計となっている。
