在日前揭晓的2016年度G-Mark评选结果中，明基BenQ treVolo S 静电薄膜蓝牙音箱成功获得GOOD DESIGN AWARD的表彰。创设于1957年的日本G-Mark设计大奖（优良设计商品选定制度），是日本国内家喻户晓、具有高度影响力的设计奖项，也是全球四大国际性设计奖项之一。

受賞概要

Having inherited the superior audio quality and foldable design of treVolo, the first portable electrostatic Bluetooth speaker, treVolo S is even lighter and can be held in one hand; it provides users with a multi-layered listening experience by using the passive radiator technique to add richness to the bass, as well as the electrostatic diaphragm technology to deliver crystal clear treble and midrange. Furthermore, the NFC function enables users to complete Bluetooth pairing simply by touching the device, and the included battery can last up to 18 hours.

背景

Mobile devices have revolutionized the traditional audio equipment market, with the rise of portable bluetooth speakers and music streaming markets. But most portable bluetooth speakers offer unimpressive sound quality and design. With clear, homogeneous and accurate sound reproduction, treVolo S takes the audio experience of portable bluetooth speaker to the next level.

経緯とその成果

treVolo S has inherited the classic design elements and rich audio details of treVolo, with a more compact size for easy to carry and a more simplified user interface for convenient operation.

デザイナーの想い

TreVolo S is the result of our relentless quest for excellence in audio reproduction. Our design made heavy use of metalwork. The materials can affect sound quality, and the woofer required space for resonance. We needed to strike a perfect balance in the size and proportions to achieve the best sound quality and design. This took a lot of effort to implement the idea.

企画・開発の意義

treVolo S is the second product in the treVolo series, and we have continued to take advantage of the electrostatic diaphragm technology to create smaller, lighter speakers with rich audio details. We have also simplified the Bluetooth pairing process so that music from other devices can be easily played on the treVolo S. The brand identity of treVolo was also emphasized in design.

創意工夫

1.With the same electrostatic technology that is typically reserved for high-end speaker systems, TreVolo S transmitting sound without cabin resonance to produce crisp, clean tones that highlight the nuances and details of every song and instrument. Every note comes through as pure as intended by the artists and producers from the studio to your ears.

2.TreVolo S is light on weight but heavy on audio detail. It has been amazingly engineered for incredible audio detail in a surprisingly compact form. The unique wing design takes full advantage of its thinness. The wings are opened in use for the best sound possible, and folded when stored to save space.

treVolo Sは携帯型のBluetoothスピーカーである。NFC機能により機器に軽くタッチするだけでBluetoothペアリングを行い、羽を広げたような独特のデザインにより静電型スピーカーのコンパクト性を実現している。使用時には両翼を広げて音響効果を高め、羽の表裏4面から音声を発出する構造で、サラウンド型の自然な音響効果を可能にしている。両翼をたたみ込む構造で収納性・携帯性を兼ね備えており、全体の造形はシンプルで上品、緻密な質感は高級感があり、デザイン性と機能性との適切なバランスを実現している。
